Amazing furniture from Kalon Studios
What were you looking for exactly when searching for that perfect crib? It was such a big deal for me. For some reason, my kids bed always had to be the best that I could find when they were tiny. First it had to be safe then well designed with eco materials and again safe. We had a nightmarish experience with the first crib we bought for my oldest daughter. At first sight, it was beautifully designed with eco materials but as soon as she started to move around, her arms and her legs were getting stuck in the wooden bars and it was impossible for us to get her out of there. So when I say nighmare, I mean it... At her expense unfortunately, I turned to a more simple crib, the "Classic from Oeuf" and it was the best decision I've made. The crib was simply perfect and after a few years we converted it into a toddler bed which was equally great. So no regrets going with Oeuf. A few months ago I discovered Kalon Studios. The company claims to be as green and sustainable as can be and their price are very attractive. Take a look at their shop!

Twiggy and Lou ♥ this room
We've seen this room over and over on Pinterest and different blogs, it was designed by Thélissa and Lélia of Bonnesoeurs. It's the first time that I see the entire room and I went like: really??? No!!.. Not only the wooden structure on top of the bed is incredibly well made but all the accents here and there were so well chosen and carefully coordinated. I figured that maybe you haven't seen the entire greatness of this space and you should. So today, this room is featured here on Twiggy and Lou. All pictures were taken from the awesome icioula blog.

Before we say goodbye...Our girls room
The clock is ticking and we cannot wait for a change. Is it going to be a change in the decor or a change of location? Maybe both...Shhh... On time I will share with you what the future holds ;) As for now what I would like to do is keep in mind the precious years that my daughters have spent in this room and to remember, I am writing this post and sharing a few pictures.

The 4 seasons puzzle blocks by Noble Toy Co.
It's raining and the trees look even more green. If we were not in Brooklyn I will think that we are somewhere in Pennsylvania. Days like this, inspiration comes from within and so far from the trees that surround us. I was browsing for wooden toys when I fell on these 4 seasons puzzle blocks made by Noble Toy Co. a company based in Chicago. I can tell that they were made by dreamers like me. People who care about earth and who use their childhood memories to create their toys. Now, I let you fall in love with them too...

When the little people grow
I haven't written in so long, I apologize. Life is very very busy and time flies, it's been very difficult to keep posting and producing pieces at the same time. But today is Mother's Day and I was inspired by this pretty room. Have a great day!
